Victorian PawPrints is a fully licensed and inspected small breeding program started in 1995 by Kristen Farley Griffith. I have raised quality puppies for almost 30 years now. I have always been passionate about dogs! I cannot remember a time in my life when I did not have one. I made my start by training to groom all breeds of dogs. I, subsequently, opened a home grooming shop in my neighborhood while living in Conyers, Ga. I groomed our communities pets and prepared several AKC show dogs for their shows. I found I genuinely loved every breed of dog and loved to groom all coat types and colors .
Along with grooming, I raised AKC Maltese and AKC Yorkies under the name HarPaw for many years. As a dedicated breeder, I was always in good standing with the American Kennel Club and bred along their strict guidelines in the AKC Rules and Regulations. I was inspected yearly by the AKC and always passed with compliments and flying colors. In 2011, I decided to add a poodle to blend with one of my maltese. The blend was so favorable that the Poodle Crosses have become the only pups I raise! The poodle has added a ton of intelligence, health, hypo-allergenic easy care coat, and just an overall perfect little family dog!
We moved to my parents birthplace Eatonton, Ga in 2015. We live in the city limits of Eatonton. My office, grooming shop, and home to my adult dogs is at my country home outside of Eatonton. They have a large play yard and a heated and air conditioned home there. I spend my days with my dogs at the office but my babies are born at my home in town under my watchful eye! They stay in my bedroom for 3 weeks so I can watch them constantly then graduate to my parlor. I am state licensed and inspected by the Ga Dept of Agriculture every 6 months and have always received exemplary inspection reports. My son, Brannon and daughter in law, Stephanie live over at our country home now and watch everything for me when I can't be there. This has been so beneficial knowing everyone is doing fine over there when I can't be there.
I can't say enough about my husband and best friend, Emory! He helps me tirelessly everyday with our dog family and is always happy and more than willing to solve any and all issues that arise.
His wealth of knowledge with a background as a Paramedic/Firefighter, Police K-9 Handler in Gwinnett County, Ga, and everything else he accolades - have all come in handy at just the right time.
Whether it's constructing a dog play yard or dog equipment, medical help while I am whelping puppies, lifting and moving our larger dogs for grooming or vet appts, or his expertise in training our dogs and puppies and I could go on and on!
He is dedicated, just as I am, to raising healthy and much loved puppies and providing them the best start that we can. I think I have even convinced him that a German Shepherd Dog is NOT the only dog out there and a poodle blend can be almost as smart and equally loyal.
